Dr. Amira Patel is a highly qualified Consultant Neurologist and Epileptologist with advanced training in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of neurological conditions. She provides comprehensive and personalized neurological care, with a special focus on epilepsy and seizure disorders, stroke, migraine, headache disorders, memory and cognitive concerns, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, autoimmune and demyelinating disorders, and other neurological conditions.

Dr. Patel holds an MBBS and MD in General Medicine, followed by a DrNB in Neurology from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai, where she received advanced specialist training in neurology.

To further enhance her expertise in epilepsy care, Dr. Patel completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute. This specialized training enables her to evaluate and manage various types of seizures and complex epilepsy conditions.

Dr. Patel has expertise in clinical neurophysiology, including the interpretation and application of electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies (NCS). She is also trained in neurocritical care and the management of complex neurological disorders.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Patel is actively involved in neurological research and academics. She has contributed to research publications in national and international journals and presented her work at scientific conferences. Her academic achievements include multiple Best Oral Paper and Best Research Poster Awards, as well as a Travel Bursary Award at the International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders in Korea.
